17th-Century Vicarage restored into a Warm, Contemporary Country Home

This former vicarage had stood empty and neglected for many years before we were asked to lead its complete renovation and redesign. Originally built in the 17th century, the house had undergone numerous later additions—some of which were not in keeping with its historic character.

Our approach carefully balanced preservation with renewal: restoring original features while introducing a warm, contemporary country style suited to modern family living. Alongside the aesthetic transformation, we also integrated energy-efficient solutions and sustainable heating, ensuring the home is as practical and future-proof as it is beautiful
